Berry Patch Fire and Safety Training started in 1999 teaching First Aid and firefighting. In 2004, we became involved in developing safety programs and writing Safety Manuals for a variety of clients. In 2008, the company expanded its repertoire to a wide range of safety related courses. Our courses are provided via contract instruction and instruction to the general public. Berry Patch Fire and Safety Training became a limited company in 2012 continuing to provide quality instruction and safety consulting to industry and the fire service. The company also works under a Medical Director providing First Aid coverage for various events on a volunteer basis.
Stan Berry, owner and chief instructor is NFPA 1041 Level II Fire Services Instructor and NFPA 1035 Public Fire and Life Safety Educator certified, holding IFSAC and ProBoard seals as well as a Red Cross First Aid Instructor and Enform H2S Alive and Petroleum Safety Training (Classroom) Instructor. He is an Alberta College of Paramedics registered EMT. In December of 2012 Stan achieved the CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation.
